The latest edition of SYSCOM Expo—one of the most important gatherings in Mexico’s electronic security industry—brought together integrators, manufacturers, and technology specialists in a space where innovation and business models set the agenda. In this context, SoftGuard stood out with a strong presence, combining presentations, meetings with integrators, and the consolidation of its position in the Mexican market.
One of the company’s key milestones during the event was the conference “Comprehensive Cloud Monitoring for Modern Security,” presented by Hernán Cerimedo, Country Manager of SoftGuard. During his presentation, he addressed the evolution of traditional monitoring toward cloud-based models, where automation, scalability, and operational efficiency are becoming critical factors for security companies.
Cerimedo highlighted how new platforms enable monitoring centers to operate more efficiently by integrating multiple services within a single technological ecosystem. In this context, the concept of comprehensive monitoring becomes increasingly relevant, combining alarm management, mobile applications, operational supervision, and control tools within one digital platform.
“The industry is undergoing a profound transformation. Monitoring no longer depends solely on physical infrastructure, but on cloud platforms capable of scaling, automating processes, and improving event response,” he noted during his presentation to integrators and industry professionals.
SoftGuard also leveraged the event to strengthen its positioning in the country through a strategic partnership with SYSCOM, one of the most important distributors in the Mexican market.
In an interview during the expo, Virginia D’Errico, Commercial Director of SoftGuard, explained the significance of this presence for the company:
“For us, this represents much more than a trade show. It marks the formal beginning of a strategic partnership in Mexico with the country’s leading distributor.”
According to the company’s founder, participating in SYSCOM Expo is part of SoftGuard’s regional expansion strategy, backed by more than two decades of developing technology for security companies across Latin America.
D’Errico also emphasized the professional profile of attendees as one of the differentiating factors of the event:
“This is not just about volume; these are active companies with real projects and execution capabilities. SYSCOM creates an ecosystem where the channel truly comes to do business.”
She also highlighted the technological evolution taking place within Mexico’s electronic security sector. More and more integrators are adopting cloud-based operational models, process automation, and efficiency-driven strategies.
“The level of professionalism in the Mexican market is very high. We see integrators already thinking in terms of SaaS, automation, and how to optimize their monitoring center operations.”
This evolution is opening the door to new business opportunities, particularly through models that combine software, services, and mobile applications within a unified technological offering.
A central pillar of SoftGuard’s proposal at the event was the transition toward Software as a Service (SaaS) business models. According to D’Errico, this trend enables integrators to transform their operations and generate recurring revenue streams:
“Those who continue selling only hardware will compete on price. Those who sell services and recurring technology will build stronger companies.”
In this context, the company showcased its cloud-based ecosystem, including the Ultra platform, along with specialized applications such as VigiControl, TecGuard, and CleanApp—designed to expand the range of services integrators can offer their clients.
These tools enable everything from monitoring center operations to field staff supervision and technical service management, all within a single digital environment.

Another key highlight of SoftGuard’s participation was its focus on growing the integrator channel. As explained by the Commercial Director, the partnership with SYSCOM aims to provide the Mexican market with access to specialized technology, training, and support.
In addition to access to the solutions portfolio, integrators benefit from commercial support, technical training, and tools to help them develop new services within the market.
Throughout the expo, SoftGuard’s booth became a key meeting point for integrators interested in exploring new opportunities within the monitoring and security services business.
Through live demonstrations, presentations, and meetings with partners, the company’s participation reflected an increasingly visible trend in the industry: the shift from hardware sales to digital service models and cloud-based management platforms.
In a continuously evolving market, events like SYSCOM Expo are becoming essential spaces where manufacturers, integrators, and specialists can share experiences, identify opportunities, and explore the future of electronic security in the region.
