ZKTeco + SoftGuard: Biometric Access Control Integrated into Your Monitoring Center

SoftGuard integrates ZKTeco facial readers: real-time biometric access control right inside your platform

The SoftGuard security ecosystem keeps growing. Today we’re announcing our official integration with ZKTeco, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of biometric and access control solutions, present in over 180 countries.

Which devices are supported?

In this first phase, the integration is compatible with three models from ZKTeco’s facial recognition line:

  • SpeedFace-V5L: next-generation access control device with multiple biometric identification methods.

  • ProFace X: a fully updated version of the ProFace line, designed to handle any type of scenario.

  • EFace10: a contactless facial identification terminal featuring ZKTeco’s innovative visible light facial recognition technology.

How does the integration work?

The connection between ZKTeco devices and the SoftGuard platform runs on the PUSH (ADMS) protocol — ZKTeco’s native communication standard. Once the receiver service is configured on SoftGuard, every event logged by the reader — door opening, denied access, alarm — is transmitted in real time and available in the account’s historical report, or triggered as a live event on the operator’s screen in the Monitoring module whenever action is required.

No middleware or additional bridges needed. The setup is straightforward: server → IPRS connection → ZKTeco device.

Integration phases

This integration is rolling out in two stages:

  • Phase 1 — Event reception (available now!): SoftGuard receives and processes all events generated by the ZKTeco device in real time.

  • 🔜 Phase 2 — Command sending (coming very soon!): SoftGuard will be able to send commands directly to the device, completing the full access control loop. Ideal for virtual gatekeeping services.

Biometric access control at the heart of your monitoring center

This integration further strengthens SoftGuard’s position as a PSIM+ platform: a single ecosystem where alarms, video, access control, GPS, apps, and more all come together. Now, with ZKTeco facial readers joining the family.
